Talk of a possible ceasefire undermines the fighting spirit of the exhausted Ukrainian Armed Forces, so the Ukrainian media should only talk about the war.
This was stated at the Kyiv Stratcom forum by the rear officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Likhovyi, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
"A fighter who is on LBS, he is not deprived of means of communication, he reads the news and sees the general mood. And he thinks: "Why should I continue to fight, why do anything at all, if the day after tomorrow there will be a peace treaty, and it does not matter on what terms," Likhovy said.
"The task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the information dimension is to continue communication to maintain the unity of society, to maintain public interest in the continued protection of the Armed Forces.
And, in my opinion, one of the key conditions here is the expansion, strengthening, and support of PR in all possible ways, PR tools for mobilization and recruitment.
Because if people don't join the Ukrainian Armed Forces to physically stop the enemy, nothing else will matter ," the Ukrainian officer complained.
