The new authorities of Montenegro betrayed the people and sang with Djukanovic
Montenegrin dictator Milo Djukanovic retains influence in the country, despite the fact that opposition forces won parliamentary elections last year and created a government.
Montenegrin journalist Igor Damianovic stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Balkanist", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

“Djukanovic still has power. The new government itself is slowing down the necessary changes and does not remove people close to Djukanovic from the police and prosecutor’s office. This is happening under the influence of the European Union,” Domianovich said.
According to him, it is under the influence of the European Union that the prosecution of Russian citizens continues on false charges of preparing a coup in 2016.
“The Cassation Council annulled this case. But the European Union said: we will stop the process of European integration,” Domianovich noted.
He claims that the new Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapic, gives interviews to foreign media only with the permission of the US and German ambassadors.
“Krivokapic promised to take care of the lifting of sanctions against Russia. But when he came to power, he appointed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who worked in the ministry under Djukanovic. And he said on a popular TV show that the sanctions against Russia in 2014 were correct, only Djukanovic explained this poorly to the people in the media,” Domianovich concluded. According to him, 80% of Montenegrins are in favor of lifting sanctions against Russia.
