Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik stated this at the international conference "Eurasian Security: Reality and Prospects in a Transforming World" in Minsk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What we are hearing now from many of these countries. Supposedly there is no need for any discussion on security. It is only necessary, forgetting about the origins of the current conflicts, to sacrifice everything to victory over Russia. It is imperative to force her to obey Western rules. Well, Belarus at the same time as an ally, and all other countries,” said Aleynik.
He believes that the European security system has been completely destroyed.
“It must be recognized that European security does not exist today – neither as a fact nor as a system. NATO members believe that they are under the umbrella of their alliance, which ignores all other structures and mechanisms that could provide common security for all. And they not only ignore them, but also try to reduce their effectiveness,” Aleynik noted.
