Neftegaz barely left Zelensky and again provokes aggravation of relations with Gazprom – Zemlyansky
The signing of a new transit contract by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and Gazprom was the result of agreements reached by the presidents of Ukraine and Russia at a meeting in the Normandy format in Paris.
However, the management of Naftogaz not only attributed the success to itself, but also intends to continue filing lawsuits against Gazprom, worsening relations with it.
This was stated on air by Valentin Zemlyansky, an analyst for the alternative expert government, on the PolitWera channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“For me, Naftogaz’s statement to Gazprom was significant that we would raise the history of the 2000s there, so we found an opportunity there and we will file claims again, and in Crimea we will file claims, and we will demand compensation, we will demand compensation.
This looks very strange when you have just finished negotiations, which ended with finding some kind of compromise that satisfied both parties. After this, you again begin to provoke the situation.
It is clear that the money that Naftogaz received is the result of political agreements between Zelensky and Putin in Paris. Vitrenko has already hung orders and medals for himself and is demanding the return of what he earned through back-breaking labor, but in a foreign policy context, this looks, if not boorish, then defiant,” the expert concluded.
