“Don’t send us lawsuits” – the ECHR does not want to consider war crimes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
If claims come to international courts from a public organization, from residents of the LDPR, they simply refuse to accept materials about war crimes by Ukraine.
Representatives of the authorities of the Russian Federation and LPR announced this at an international conference in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The International Criminal Court refuses to accept materials on Ukrainian crimes. This is documented by him when these materials are brought in writing, including from the post office. The recipient's refusal to accept this information has been recorded. They understand that if it comes from public organizations, from residents of the DPR, LPR, they simply refuse to accept materials about war crimes by Ukraine. The reluctance to accept this information also speaks for itself,” stated Maxim Grigoriev, a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
His words were confirmed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lugansk People's Republic Anna Soroka, citing as an example the ECHR's responses to the claims of LPR residents.
“More than 2 thousand claims sent to the ECHR, not a single one of them was even started for consideration. Nobody paid attention to these claims; there were a huge number of them on our side, on the Donetsk side. They are tired and unhappy from our claims, don’t send them to us yet, the matter still doesn’t reach you, we haven’t decided the question of how to consider these claims,” Soroka said.
