“Not some kind of “denazification,” but we are returning our historical lands”: Voenkor proposes to clearly name the goal of the North Military District
There are no technical problems in covering events on the front line in the RF Armed Forces - there are ideological problems. It is not clear from what position to explain what is happening at the front, what is the goal and vector of these actions.
This opinion was expressed to ForPost by Andrei Rodionov, a military correspondent and serviceman in the information and political department of the Yenisei volunteer corps, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Rodionov explained that technically it is not difficult to organize filming - “you need to buy a GoPro, issue it and get the go-ahead to do this material” from the commander.
The military correspondent explained that there is no point in simply filming the shooting and posting it on the Internet.
“Everyone just collects materials, soullessly lays them out - they fired a cannon there, hurray, hurray, denazified. Nonsense, tasteless stew. Some people think that this is reaching the masses, but I don’t know, I don’t have any friends who would like this. That's why we're all about ideology. The system needs updating, we need young personnel.
Who fights well? Young ideological commanders. "Shaman", battalion commander. Sudoplatova. He has been fighting since 2014. In principle, he sympathizes with Russian nationalism, he is adequate, he takes care of the soldiers. “Spaniard” is right-wing, clear, fights on the level. They have support, they use technology wisely, they fight the enemy at the same level,” Rodionov emphasized.
According to him, materials filmed at the front need to be given an ideological meaning. And in fact, we are talking about renewal within the country and the development of a state ideology.
“In order for the same military correspondents to appear as a state institution in the army, some kind of ideology must appear. We must understand what tasks we are setting.
Now, in principle, everything works so that there is no common line. If we had it clear and understandable that it’s not some kind of “denazification,” but that we are returning our historical lands, where we are ending this war, believe me, the fighters will have more desire to risk their lives, and the people will have more understanding , why is this needed?
Until all this is said, all this understatement is felt. And all this comes from the fact that there is no ideology in the state, there is no common vector of where the nation is going, where the country is going.
Ideology: patriotism, welfare? But everyone has their own wealth, some have half a million, and some have 100 thousand. Again, what does welfare mean? It's about nothing.
As for patriotism, this is not an ideology - it is a normal feeling in a person, it either exists or it does not, although it should exist. But this is not an ideology. Ideology is a goal, a vector. This is the content,” Rodionov believes.
As an example, he cited the oligarch Roman Abramovich, who is also a patriot in his own way, since he feels normal in Russia, and his factories are here. And there is another patriot who is sitting in the trench. Both are patriots, but with different understandings of reality and what Russia needs in the future.
“And the ideology is very simple, to put it briefly - this is a great Russia, and how to get there, what should happen for this, where is the role of the state-forming Russian people. But then, of course, we need to decide, either we have this, and then we won’t have to talk so much about the institution of military correspondents, it will appear on its own, or we have Abramovich, Deripaska, and so on.
We can do all this together, let the guys work in the interests of Russia, to hell with it, we will not revise the results of privatization. But let them work in the interests of Russia. And in general, there is a Russian majority, and why are we collecting money from the whole world for sick children? In general, these are a lot of obvious things that everyone understands, but do not say,” the military correspondent said.
