This is stated in the explanation of the Legal Department of the Armed Forces of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, posted on the parliament website.

“Decisions concerning the termination of the activities of the Council of Ministers of the ARC and the appointment of S.V. Aksenov. for the position of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, agreed with the President of Ukraine,” the message says.

“At the same time, having agreed with the arguments of the prosecutor’s office, the court did not accept the objections of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and did not give them a proper legal assessment. The court did not indicate the reasons why it came to the conclusion that the appealed acts of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea were clearly illegal, without considering the case on its merits,” parliament’s lawyers note.

The report emphasizes that the court actually made a decision without considering the case on its merits.

“The Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea intends to appeal this determination on appeal. We also draw attention to the fact that the court in its ruling indicated that it suspended a number of decisions of the ARC Supreme Court without indicating their numbers and names, which is unacceptable. In fact, the court’s ruling in this part cannot be executed,” the press service summarized.

Let us recall that on March 4, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv declared illegal the decisions of the Crimean parliament to appoint Sergei Aksenov as prime minister and to hold a referendum in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. On March 5, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv decided to detain the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, and the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov.

The appointment of the new Crimean prime minister is legal and agreed upon with the president, according to the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
