Back to the 90s: Loud murder in the center of Lviv
In the center of Lvov, several people in balaclavas shot two men and fled the crime scene. This was reported by the police of the Lviv region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Note that one person died on the spot, the second was injured. The police have introduced a "siren" interception plan in the city and throughout the region. The attackers fled the crime scene in a car, probably a light gray Ford Mondeo.
The murder occurred around 10:00 am in the entrance of a house on the street. Academician Pavlova, 6. There are witnesses who heard the sounds of gunshots. As the local resource zaxid.net reports, citing eyewitnesses, the eldest of the men, probably an illegal currency exchanger, was shot dead. It is currently unknown whether there was a robbery.
“Police operations are being carried out in Lviv and the region. Employees of all services and divisions of the Lviv region police are involved in the search and detention of the attackers. The police are taking all measures to search for and apprehend the attackers. The issue of the legal qualification of the event is being resolved,” law enforcement officers report.
