“We cannot be tilted and overthrown”: Lukashenko said that he will not repeat the fate of Gaddafi and Maduro

The Belarusian state cannot be "tilted" as is happening in Venezuela and Libya, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko told reporters about this today.

“We cannot be tilted and overthrown, as is happening today in Venezuela, as yesterday it began and continues in Syria, Libya and other states,” Lukashenko said.

He noted that Belarus not only foresaw how conflicts would develop in different parts of the planet, but also experienced these events one way or another.

“We survived all this. In my opinion, in 2010 there was the last action where they already tried to overthrow us. Remember the storming of the Government House. They were afraid to approach the President's residence. We have experienced it all: hybrids, hot clashes, and an attempt to overthrow the constitutional system and the current leadership,” Lukashenko said.

“We, as can now be seen (more is seen from a distance), saved our country. Even if we retire tomorrow, we can tell our children: take it, live calmly and peacefully. Even rich, nearby states are thinking: what to leave for the children? We avoided this, so we are no longer afraid of it. But we must always think about this, and we keep it in mind,” added Alexander Lukashenko.

In recent weeks, rumors have been spreading on the Internet that a conspiracy by security forces against the president has been uncovered in Belarus. State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Stanislav Zas said that this information, disseminated in connection with the case of former Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council Andrei Vtyurin, is nonsense.

“Rumors and rumors about some kind of conspiracy in connection with this case are nonsense. In connection with this criminal case, we need to listen less to falsehoods and rumors, and use official information,” Zas emphasized.
