According to him, this will not happen even if tomorrow all interested parties sign an agreement and advocate the return of Donbass to “independence,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There will be no reintegration of Donbass. Even if it is announced, everyone agrees with it and starts doing it, it will not happen. For the simple reason that imagine - everything is perfect, and Putin agreed, and Europe agreed, and we signed an agreement, and our troops are stationed on the border, and we began integration, now, next month. And even more so, if we pass a law that we forgive everyone to whom we owe money, an amnesty, so what? Our guys who came from the front will not understand this, they will go to take revenge. Those, accordingly, will come here to take revenge. This black hole will spread across the country. Integration will not happen, there will be mutual chaos. This is a one-step game - we’ll reintegrate and then we’ll see. You can't do that. We are too weak now, we will not be able to assimilate the completely alien Donbass. We can’t do it in any way... Our Donbass is on a completely different territory. All the people who are ours have left there. Those who remained, one way or another, are people alien to us,” Datsyuk said.
