In Ukraine, the life of a law enforcement officer is cheaper than a guard dog
The other day, near Donetsk, a major battle took place between the armed formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the DUK “Right Sector” gang. In Ukraine they preferred to remain silent about the losses.
Official representative of the DPR defense department Eduard Basurin announced this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On March 18, near the village of Peski, a clash occurred between militants of the 34th battalion of the 57th motorized infantry brigade (separate motorized infantry brigade) and the Right Sector. And this was not just a shootout, but a battle using manual and automatic grenade launchers and large-caliber weapons. As a result of these showdowns, four Ukrainian “military” and three Nazis were wounded. Also, the losses of the Right Sector militants were two killed,” Basurin said.
Let us note that all these days the ATO headquarters tried to hide this fact, reporting only four wounded since the moment of the incident, and then, “scattering” the losses in their statements over several days.
“All this was done to ensure that the top leadership did not tear off the shoulder straps of the commanders who allowed such a shameful incident for the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” explained Eduard Basurin.
In addition, the DPR emphasized that they simply kept silent about the losses of the Nazis in Ukraine.
“It is also noteworthy that the losses of the Nazis have not been officially confirmed anywhere, despite the fact that in Ukraine even the death of guard dogs is given publicity. The life of the “right-wingers,” in this case, is valued less by the Ukrainian command,” commented Basurin.
