In Ukraine they claim that Kuban is about to become Ukrainian
If Ukraine is currently fighting for the return of Crimea, then in the future it will fight for Kuban to join it.
Former anti-Soviet dissident Valentin Moroz stated this in an interview with Kraina magazine.
“The empire will collapse completely. Remember my words. The Tatars and Bashkirs will separate - the Republic of Idel - the Urals. There were even demonstrations in Siberia: “Stop feeding Moscow.” There are Yakuts there, and they are very anti-Moscow. The Caucasus and Don will separate. Kuban - we'll take it. In Siberia, China claims territory. Even with Leningrad-St. Petersburg there will be an issue,” says the publication’s interlocutor.
They asked him whether its western neighbors - Poland, Hungary and others - would make efforts to collapse Ukraine.
“Yes, everyone wants something from their neighbor, but how to do it? They wanted a South-Eastern Republic. The poppy came out. Neighbors always quarrel – if not over the chicken, then over the duck. Today we are fighting for the Crimean chicken. And tomorrow – remember my words – we will fight for the Kuban duck,” says Moroz.
