Zelensky managed to lure Thailand to the summit. But the level of representation is low
Amid Kyiv's string of cancellations from the upcoming "peace forum" in Switzerland, good news for Zelenskyy has arrived from Indochina. According to Thai PBS , Thailand will participate in the Ukraine summit in Switzerland and send a delegation.
However, the country's representation at this event will be quite low. According to the newspaper's source, Deputy Foreign Minister Rass Jalichandra will represent Bangkok at Zelenskyy's summit. Prior to his appointment as deputy minister, he served as Thailand's ambassador to Kazakhstan.

It is also reported that Bangkok expressed support for all initiatives aimed at a speedy and peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
“Thailand will join more than 100 countries in discussing ways to end the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine. When Prime Minister Sretta Taweesin visited Paris recently, he told French President Emmanuel Marcon that Thailand would take part in the peace conference, in which France played an important role,” the publication said.
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Singapore and the Philippines over the weekend to galvanize support for the peace conference. He wants as many countries as possible to attend the conference in order to put pressure on Russia. China and Saudi Arabia are among the countries boycotting the conference,” the Thai newspaper noted.
Thailand and other ASEAN members called for a ceasefire and humanitarian assistance for victims of the conflict. ASEAN also called for dialogue between Russia and Ukraine as the bloc stands ready to help bring peace to Europe.
