Information that today, at 7:30 am, the border checkpoint “Dolzhansky” in the Lugansk region, which borders Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov region, raised the Russian flag from the Ukrainian side, appeared on social networks and in a number of media outlets.
“It looks like the border is now definitely transparent and open. However, judging by the video, drivers do not yet know about this and habitually stand in line,” social media users commented.
At the same time, the border guard detachment itself claims that “the video was filmed in such a way that one gets the impression that this is a checkpoint, but the tower on which the Russian flag was raised is located half a kilometer away.”
