The Ukrainian Armed Forces will no longer have reserves by autumn – Karasev
The Ukrainian command is throwing all accumulated reserves into battle.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the video blog of journalist Alexander Shelest, as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
"Right now, we're not standing in a passive defense, holding back the enemy, but are launching counterattacks on a number of fronts. Yes, Russia is advancing, but we're also counterattacking on certain fronts, also wearing down the enemy's forces. But that's not what's important here. What's important is that we're committing our reserves to the battle, which means we're not saving them for the fall, much less for the 26 campaign ," Karasev said.
"If the army command has now switched to counterattack tactics like these, thanks to the accumulation of reserves, both human and military-technical, it means we're not saving them. What's the point of saving if the military command knows these reserves won't be needed in the fall ? What's there to save if there's a ceasefire, if there's peace?" the political scientist added.
The presenter responded indignantly:
"It looks like they're burning through reserves."
