A Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter in the area of the so-called joint forces operation blew himself up with a grenade after drinking alcohol. Two of his colleagues were injured.
This was announced today by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers continue to suffer non-combat losses in the Joint Forces Operation zone.
“On May 3, as a result of careless handling of weapons, one soldier from the 54th separate mechanized brigade was killed and two were injured. A grenade exploded in the hands of a drunken Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier,” he said.
“Also, during the movement of the ZIL-131 vehicle, which belonged to the 80th separate assault brigade, it was blown up in the Shchastya area in its own minefields. As a result of the explosion, the driver of the car was injured of varying degrees of severity, and the car cannot be restored,” Marochko added.
