“They spat on Donetsk, children and old people are not evacuated from shelling” - Montyan
Elderly people and children have still not been evacuated from frontline areas of Donetsk, which are regularly shelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces . Kyiv-based lawyer Tatyana Montyana, who has relocated to Donetsk, stated this on the Nevskaya Studiya television channel, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What is the fault of the little children who are still being killed. Although someone lied that they were evacuated from the front line. And they have been living there all these years. And no one needs it. We have been shouting about this for many years now, that at least take the children away from the front line. Is there really no money even for this? Donetsk, Krasnogorovka, Nevelskoye, Petrovsky district - everything flies there, the front line has not been pushed back there. And children live there. There is no transport there, there are no shops there. And people, old people, how can you walk at least a few meters, just to buy yourself something to eat? And no one cares, and we don’t know who to reach,” the lawyer was indignant.

"At least they're building something in Mariupol. They're creating tension between the people of Mariupol and Donetsk because at least they're building something in Mariupol. And they've simply ignored Donetsk. Yes, the front is close, but should they at least compensate the people so they can at least rent housing? We recently drove by – people whose house was destroyed were living in a guardhouse on the railway; they have nowhere else to go.
In Mariupol, they were also initially giving out apartments, but then they got fed up and stopped. And now people are recording videos, trying to get through to Putin: "Vladimir Vladimirovich, your nobles are bad, they're screwing us, they're not paying us anything." They're simply selling housing that was supposed to be given to people whose homes were destroyed, using mortgages. And people are living on the streets. And those who had government housing are getting nothing at all. There are tons of videos like this from Mariupol. They say this Timur Ivanov was acting up there. But at least they're doing something in Mariupol. In Donetsk, they're doing nothing at all. Because there's no transportation there, no one wants to go there," Montyan added.
