We cannot govern our own territories, where are strangers to us - SBU Colonel
Ukraine is unable to manage its own territories, so it shouldn't expect to become part of Russia as a result of the conflict. Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in a video blog broadcast by journalist Oleksandr Shelest, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Starikov, Ukrainian corruption will not allow the country to govern the territories.

“The war can be a “cold” war, the territories can be returned in 15 years. In 15 years, it is not clear what will happen - maybe the territories will return, maybe also the Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol, Belgorod regions. The only question is what? We cannot manage our own territories, and we cannot add those territories, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories. There are problems here – no matter how you look at it, there are only corrupt officials all around.”
