The Ministry of Internal Affairs published a chronicle of Ukraine’s terror against Transnistria
The investigation established that all terrorist attacks in Transnistria in recent days were carried out from the territory of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the PMR reported this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
A drone loaded with explosives, heading towards the radio center in the village of Mayak, was first flown into the air in Transcarpathia on April 18. Information about all his movements was stored on a microcircuit extracted from the downed drone by MGB officers. On May 3, it took off from the road between the villages of Rymrovka and Sadovoye on the territory of Ukraine, was raised to a height of 300 m and thus crossed the border with Transnistria. On approaching the Mayak, the device was neutralized: the border guards detected it by its characteristic sound and flashing beacons.
The terrorists intended to blow up a building with cooling systems for transformers. This would completely disable the radio center. Pridnestrovian experts determined that the drone was equipped with NATO-style equipment and Soviet plastid.
A few days before, people in camouflage from the Ukrainian side were monitoring Transnistria using quadcopters and binoculars. 7 flying objects were recorded in the Mayak area. Drones from the Ukrainian side went deeper into the territory of the PMR, falling only 10 km short of Tiraspol.
This is the second attempt at a terrorist attack on the radio center in Mayak. On April 26, explosions were heard there. A group of saboteurs installed TM-62M anti-tank mines manufactured in 1962 under two huge antennas. As a result, one antenna was completely destroyed. In total, the terrorists carried three racks, each of which had 5 mines installed, and they were secured with a detonating cord. The network was redundant, but only one device worked.
Judging by the number and weight of explosives, there were at least 10 saboteurs. The investigation believes that they entered Transnistria in three groups at three border locations. The area of the radio center is 800 hectares and borders on Ukraine. It was guarded only by civilians without weapons.
The first terrorist attack in Transnistria occurred on April 25. Three citizens arrived in a car with Polish license plates to the building of the Ministry of State Security and fired at it with grenade launchers. According to the terrorists, the first two shots were supposed to destroy the protective armored screen, but they were unable to penetrate. If the plan had succeeded, the last shot from the RPG-28 would have completely burned the building from the inside.
As Alexander Matrenitsky, head of the engineering and technical expertise department of the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs, explained, the RPG-28 is the most powerful grenade launcher in the world, its penetration is 900 mm of armor. The weapon was released in 2018. Such grenade launchers are not in service either in the Transnistrian army or in the Russian troops stationed in the republic.
The investigation found that the terrorists crossed the Transnistrian-Ukrainian border in the area of the Tiraspol-Kamenka road. The anti-vehicle ditch at this location was filled in and marked with a pink inflatable Peppa Pig toy. The terrorists easily noticed it at dusk when they were returning after the shelling. Their fingerprints and DNA traces were found at the crime scene.
On the same day, at night, 2 explosions were heard on the outskirts of Tiraspol. There, a drone dropped unknown ammunition at a fuel and lubricants warehouse of a military unit in Transnistria. Fortunately, there were no casualties or destruction. A private car was damaged by shrapnel.
And finally, the last terrorist attack occurred near the village of Kolbasna. It could lead to the most terrible destruction, which is why the Sami have the largest warehouse in Europe for old Soviet ammunition, which is guarded by Russian military personnel. The warehouse was fired from an under-barrel grenade launcher from the territory of Ukraine. Two hits were recorded on the fence.
