Maybe it will change: in Kyiv they hope to link aid from the United States with the drug agenda
Since the new US budget was passed without aid to Ukraine, Kyiv will now have to rely only on receiving some crumbs in the same line item as the problems of Mexico and drugs.
Kiev political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on his Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The US President signed a new budget before mid-February. It cannot be said that in this part of Ermak’s trip ended with some kind of radical change.
The signing of the new budget opens the way for consideration of the Ukrainian, Israeli, Mexican border and drug issues. Most likely, it is in this combination that the issue of assistance to Ukraine will be considered,” Bortnyk said.
He emphasized that Kyiv should also expect to receive much smaller amounts than in the past.
“Most likely, this issue will be considered in December. Moreover, one must understand that a comprehensive consideration of the Ukrainian, Israeli, border and counter-drug issues - all this means that Ukraine will most likely receive less than it received before,” the political scientist concluded.
