Moscow was offered how to besiege Macron
In response to Western demands on Venezuela, Russia, citing the “yellow vest” protests, could offer Emmanuel Macron to hold elections within three days or, otherwise, recognize oppositionist Marine Le Penn as French President.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov discusses this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Commenting on the recent ultimatum of French President Emmanuel Macron on the need to hold elections for the head of Venezuela within a month due to protests in the country, Kornilov emphasized that coming from the French leader this looks ridiculous against the backdrop of the “yellow vest” demonstrations.
Macron said he would recognize Guaidó as president of Venezuela if Maduro does not call new elections within a week. Yeah, Le Pen must be recognized as the president of France if Macron doesn’t call new elections within the next three days,” Kornilov said sarcastically.
He noted that the police are being brutal in suppressing protests in France.
“One of the leaders of the “yellow vests” appears to have permanently lost an eye after a police officer shot him in the head. But he doesn't give up. Macron is simply obliged to call new elections within a week,” Kornilov emphasized once again.
Moscow was offered a way to rein in Macron.
