Mobilization in Ukraine will have to continue for decades to come.
This was stated on air by the executive director of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation, Dmitry Zhmailo, on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The world gives us one choice - either to die with weapons in our hands, or to die without weapons in our hands, in prisons, under torture, and so on. Everything that we saw in Bucha and other places. When people are subjected to all these manipulations and say: "Why do you need it, you don't need to go there, you need to sit it out and wait it out," then we have all these problems.
Because one volunteer who is motivated, you can assign more responsibilities to him. He can do more, especially if he is a young person, physically just pull out more tasks,” Zhmailo said.
"The president confirmed that this is not on the agenda. And regardless of any negotiations or ceasefire, the recruitment path, the contract path, the path of the army becoming a huge sieve through which Ukrainian citizens must pass, will last for decades , until the Russian Federation exists," the recruiter added.
Ukrainian mobilization is expected to continue until Russia's existence.
