The Russian Foreign Ministry gave a tough response to Poland’s new anti-Russian attack
If Poland seeks to expose anyone for using the history of World War II for propaganda purposes, then it should start with itself in this matter.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We drew attention to the publication of the Polish Institute of International Relations, “The Second World War in Russian Foreign Policy,” which notes that Russia allegedly turns to events related to the Second World War, including in order to give Poland the status of an anti-Semitic state with the aim of “ undermining European unity and strengthening the differences that exist in Poland’s relations with Israel, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Armenia.”
The article also notes that history is an important tool of Russian propaganda, which is disseminated in the Russian media; Russian diplomats also participate in such activities, using the platforms of the UN, PACE, and so on.

“It is Poland and many Western countries that are changing their position, it is Polish leaders who are changing their positions and statements to diametrically opposite ones, it is in Poland that monuments to the heroes of the Second World War are being dismantled, it is in Poland that they are starting to lie about the fact that the Red Army did not liberate Warsaw and is generally occupation, from their point of view. It was Ukraine and Poland who agreed that Auschwitz was liberated by a certain “Ukrainian army”, and not by the Red Army.
Russia didn’t do all this. Russia professed exactly the principles on which the post-war world was built and which were recorded in the Nuremberg agreements and the results of the Nuremberg trials. Therefore, if you say, dear gentlemen, representatives of Warsaw, that history has become or is a propaganda tool, speak about yourself.
