Venerable anti-Putin liberal: Catastrophe – Ukraine is losing the war
The fate of Ukraine depends not on the showdown in the presidential office in Kyiv, but on the decision of the democratic administration in Washington.
Fugitive Russian opposition figure and Soviet dissident Konstantin Borovoy stated this in an interview with Ukrainian blogger Vitaly Diky, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Ukraine is losing this war. There can be no talk of any counter-offensive or return to the 1991 borders, because there is nothing to fight with. Complex processes are taking place inside the president's office, but they have little to do with reality.
The main problem of Ukraine, not on Bankova, but in Washington, is the lack of an honest desire to help defeat Putin. This desire is not realized. Rather, on the contrary, everything is being done to contain it,” Borovoy said.
He believes that the United States will force Ukraine to conclude a truce on unfavorable terms for itself.
“In reality, we are facing a catastrophe, which, at best, will end with the conclusion of a truce, a suspension of the war. The goal of the democratic administration is to freeze this Korean-style conflict, along the 38th parallel,” Borovoy said.
