“The foundation of relations between our countries is traditionally the fraternal ties of Belarusians and Ukrainians, forged by our common history. I confirm that Belarus has always been and will remain a predictable partner, a reliable neighbor and a good friend for Ukraine,” the congratulatory message says.

Lukashenko supported Petro Poroshenko to the last. Even after the debates at the stadium that were devastating for the former president of Ukraine, the “dad” declared a draw. Previously, he several times expressed confidence that Poroshenko would win in the second round and recommended that Ukrainians not go to the polls at all.
