Liberals of a healthy person: “New People” propose to admit front-line soldiers to creative universities
Russian culture has not yet responded to the SVO; on the contrary, it is carrying out subversive work.
Dmitry Pevtsov, a deputy from the New People faction, announced this to journalists in the State Duma today, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Now the SVO is underway, and the Ministry of Culture cannot ignore this fact. But as it turns out, we don’t have films and performances that could raise the morale of the population and fighters. Those of our “artists” who received state grants were treated kindly by the government and the Ministry of Culture, those who won “Golden Masks” at festivals received subsidies from the Cinema Fund, all ended up somewhere not with us. And they behave there according to the saying - the bug is small, but stinky. And someone stayed here and is doing the same thing. What's wrong with the "Danish kingdom" called "culture"? And something needs to be changed in connection with the special military operation,” Pevtsov said.
He proposed updating the composition of the expert council under the Ministry of Culture:
“They have to monitor what is being released, where public money is being spent.”
The deputy also proposes to facilitate the admission of front-line soldiers to creative universities in Russia.
“Our brilliant Soviet art was created, among other things, by front-line soldiers who entered creative universities. I believe that now it is necessary to open creative universities for those who will return from the fronts of the Northern Military District. We need to provide front-line soldiers with free first and second higher education in the creative field. They are the ones who will build our future in culture,” Pevtsov said.
