The scenario of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to deprive the leader of the New Forces Movement party, ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili of Ukrainian citizenship is designed to prevent the politician from returning to Ukraine.

This was announced by BPP MP Serhiy Leshchenko on his Facebook page , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Poroshenko’s scenario regarding Saakashvili: revoke his Ukrainian citizenship while he is in the United States. Thus, Saakashvili will not even physically be able to return to Ukraine - he will be detained in Boryspil upon arrival and extradited to Georgia on the first flight,” he wrote.
The people's deputy explained that it would be impossible to physically protect Saakashvili from extradition.
“In fact, Saakashvili is forced to take refuge in America and forget about Ukrainian politics. All this was done specifically in the summer, while citizen activity is extremely low. Viktor Yanukovych isolated his competitors in prisons, Poroshenko – abroad,” he concluded.
