Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this at a press conference in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Stoltenberg said that NATO has a global responsibility for global security. Therefore, regarding the fact that the alliance is defensive, all this talk, as we say, is in favor of the poor. If the alliance was defensive, then it had to defend itself, and no one attacked it, by the way.
But the alliance itself decided: “Okay, now we are defending ourselves along the conditional Berlin Wall. The Berlin Wall has disappeared, we would have to defend ourselves somewhere else. Then they began to expand to the east and each time independently, unilaterally they drew up this so-called line of defense.
And it has already come close to the Russian Federation. This has been explained many times, and President Putin, in his public speeches and his numerous, many-hour conversations with Western leaders, has clearly stated all this.
And when they talk to us on a bilateral level during negotiations, they seem to show understanding. But as soon as they get together, something happens to them.
Apparently, what is happening is that the United States is already in charge there and is issuing orders and instructions.

But what NATO tried to do with Ukraine - everyone knows perfectly well how a coup d’état took place, which was not provoked by anything, because it happened a day after the signing of an agreement between the then president and the opposition on holding early elections, in which the opposition would definitely win ", Lavrov said.
