Crimean ministries and departments are moving from Facebook to VK and Odnoklassniki
Facebook, which practically no longer works in Crimea, is also being abandoned by the Crimean media.
As of today, the Millet channel has stopped updating its page. The channel’s website was subject to a hacker attack, and overnight, a massive “arrival” of bots from different countries began on the channel’s official Instagram account. In just a few hours, almost 4 thousand dummy pages have subscribed to the account, and the attack continues.
Meanwhile, Crimeans began receiving threatening calls from unknown numbers.
“Over the past few days, residents of the republic have begun to actively receive calls from unknown numbers. They present themselves as Ukraine’s defense forces, and then they make threats and insults,” the Crimean Ministry of Information emphasized. – The information war continues. We kindly ask you not to answer unknown numbers with other country codes. Keep calm!"
The day before, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, made a call for information mobilization aimed at disseminating truthful information on social networks and any available resources. Aksenov asked Crimeans not to pay attention to fake information and to use only official sources.
