Crimea to be first to test algorithms for optimal internet shutdown – Aksyonov
Mobile Internet in Crimea is switched off for security reasons during Ukrainian attacks. Now the republic, together with the federal center, is developing mechanisms that will ease the forced restrictions.
The head of the republic, Sergei Aksyonov, announced this on the air of the Crimea 24 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I'm in contact with the leadership of the Federal Security Service. Many details, of course, cannot be disclosed publicly; measures are being taken solely to ensure security. And now, with the development of certain algorithms, it's possible that Crimea will become a leader in this area . "
We have now presented the system of work and interaction itself directly from the point of view and speed of decision-making on turning the Internet on and off, and so on.
We expect that a corresponding decision regarding easing this measure will be made within a week ,” Aksyonov said.
