Bloody accident in Nikolaev: BMW ran into road workers, four died
This morning, in the area of Central Avenue in Nikolaev, four people died as a result of an accident.

This was reported in the communications department of the main department of the National Police of the Nikolaev region.
“About 4:50 on September 15 in the city of Nikolaev near the intersection of Central Ave. and st. Shosseynaya, the driver of a BMW-320, moving in the direction of the Alluvium microdistrict, hit road service workers who were applying road markings. Four people died as a result of the accident,” the statement said.
A police investigative team is working at the scene of the incident. The causes of the car accident are being established and witnesses are being interviewed.
Based on this fact, criminal proceedings have been initiated on the grounds of a crime provided for in Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of road safety rules or operation of transport by persons who drive vehicles,” which is punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years with deprivation of the right drive vehicles for up to three years.
