Kovtun got into a fight with Pole Matseychuk
Vyacheslav Kovtun, who calls himself a Ukrainian political scientist, offended the scandalous Polish nationalist Tomas Maciejczuk on the air of the “Meeting Place” program on NTV.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, Matseychuk demanded that Kovtun explain why Ukraine was blocking requests from the Poles to exhume the bodies of the victims of the Volyn Massacre.

“Why do you and your state forbid me and the Poles to look for victims of the Volyn massacre. Why are exhumations prohibited? Is this funny, haha and hihi?” - said the Pole.
To this, Kovtun mockingly stated that Ukraine had already atoned for its guilt and recalled the incident with President Petro Poroshenko’s holey socks while laying flowers at the monument to the victims of the Volyn Massacre in Warsaw.
“Poroshenko was kneeling near the monument, his socks showed torn, and now you say that we are not doing anything? This happened all the time - under Komorowski, under Duda. This is all the time,” Kovtun objected, hinting that Russia is to blame for the tense relations between Ukraine and Poland.
“Vyacheslav, you are in a very good mood every day, I envy you very much. I want Ukraine to allow the Poles to look for victims of the Volyn massacre, so that you allow us to bury them once again in a Christian way,” Matseychuk continued, to which Kovtun replied that the Poles have nothing to look for in mass graves: “75 years have already passed, so will you find there? The bones have already decayed. There is nothing".
After such an answer, the Polish journalist said with offense on his face: “Vyacheslav, is this funny?”
Then the presenters changed the topic of conversation.
