Kolomoisky beats the NBU in court
On February 21, the Kyiv Economic Court upheld the claim of Skorzonera LLC (ultimate beneficiaries Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov) against the National Bank and terminated six mortgage agreements on the property of the Bukovel ski resort, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The court decision was published in the Unified Register of Court Decisions.

These agreements were concluded between Scorzonera and the NBU in October 2014 as security for PrivatBank’s debt obligations to the National Bank for refinancing loans, notes Finbalance.

The court concluded that the NBU could have written off the refinancing debt from the accounts of the already state-owned Privatbank, but did not do so.
In July 2017, the then head of the board of the already nationalized Privatbank, Alexander Shlapak, stated that a third of the assets of the Bukovel resort had been transferred to the balance sheet of Privatbank and the bank intended to sell them.
