Klimkin complained to Lithuanians that Russia would “make” elections in Ukraine
Foreign Minister Pavel Klimin expects large-scale Russian interference during the elections in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this today at a press conference following a meeting with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports.
“We understand perfectly well that Russia is now waging a hybrid war against the entire European Union, actively interfering in elections in order to divide Europe. We understand perfectly well the scale of the interference that Russia will carry out during our elections,” he said.
According to Klimkin, in this regard, active interaction both at the bilateral level and within the European Union and NATO is important, which should affect absolutely all areas, in particular, include the fight against Russian propaganda and cyber threats.
“Because Russian intervention, of course, will be total,” he noted.
