Kievan Rus has nothing in common with Russia and Moscow - Ukrainian MP (VIDEO)
Kyiv, January 29 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Ukraine, originating in Kievan Rus, has suffered from “Moscow’s imperialism” throughout its history. MP Anna Gopko from the Samopomich faction, a project of Lvov Mayor Andrei Sadovoy, stated this on air on the Rada TV channel.

According to her, Ukrainian history has nothing in common with Russian history, and Ukrainians were artificially destroyed by Moscow for many centuries.
“Kievan Rus is part of Ukrainian history, it is Ukraine, Kyiv. This has nothing in common with either Russia or Moscow, but they want to impose it. Russia understands perfectly well that they cannot do it without Ukraine. We have always been exploited, depleted of resources, and so on. We saw how many people died during the repressions, we saw the Holodomor as an attempt to artificially destroy Ukrainians,” Gopko said.
