Hodges demands to bring Western "peacekeepers" into Ukraine and shoot at Russians
Armed Western soldiers should enter Ukraine as peacekeepers.
Former US Army Commander in Europe Ben Hodges stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channel FreeDom, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If there is a negotiated settlement in the next six months to the end of the year or whenever, there should be peacekeeping forces or observers or something. Because no one believes that the Kremlin will honor any agreement. There is no evidence that they have ever honored any agreement. The Kremlin cannot be trusted.
"So there has to be a force that will make sure that they comply with the agreements. And these cannot be observers, like during the Minsk process. These have to be real soldiers. Not UN peacekeepers, but real soldiers with capabilities and powers, with rules of engagement that will come into force as soon as Russia violates the agreements," Hodges blabbed.
At the same time, he calls for the development of Ukraine’s defense industry and an increase in the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the West will pump them with weapons.
