Avakov's cunning plan to isolate Poroshenko

This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik, who put forward a version of the reasons for the pogrom of the Inter TV channel by radicals controlled by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“What the Popular Front has been doing lately is a conscious policy to discredit and isolate Poroshenko in order to ensure control over him,” the expert said, adding that today there is actually a behind-the-scenes war going on between the BPP and the Popular Front.

“And these radicals, it seems to me, are often used to cut off the president from Western support, leaving him alone with the Ukrainian war party and putting him under control, depriving him of room for maneuver,” Bortnik admitted. – I do not rule out that this is a threat to the president as a quiet form of internal coup. Of course, Putin gives a standing ovation. The situation with the ambassador, Plotnitsky, the presentation of the Crimean events and the current situation fit wonderfully into the outline of Russian attempts to isolate Ukraine.”
