The ongoing scandal surrounding the summons to The Hague, dismissal and subsequent attempt to return to the post of “Prime Minister” of Kosovo Hashim Thaci will most likely be used by his competitor for influence – Kosovo “President” Hashim Thaci.

The fact that discord had long been evident in the “duet” of Albanian separatists was clear even from official statements. Thaci is a supporter of continuing the dialogue with Belgrade and allows for the exchange of territories with Serbia, Haradinaj is categorically against it. It was he who introduced a 100% tax on Serbian goods in the region, putting the Slavic enclaves on the brink of survival. It was Thaci who rejected all calls for compromise from the leaders of Germany and France, as well as the head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini.

As PolitNavigator already reported, upon returning to Kosovo from The Hague, the “ex-prime minister” decided to remain in his post, which the majority in the local “parliament” considered illegal. A battle for power has begun in Pristina.

Eugenia Thaci, the niece of the “president” and also a member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, acted as a “battering ram” against Haradinaj. She criticized a political opponent on her Facebook profile.

According to Gazeta Express, in her publication Thaci called Haradinaj a “coward and deserter.” And she stated that Kosovo will not be given to those who “sabotage and destroy” the Kosovo government.

“We are not ready for only one thing: to hand over the state that the people of Kosovo built with such great sacrifices into the hands of those who sabotage and destroy the process and institutions, political enemies, deserters and cowards.” Never!" - Tachi's niece.

The speaker of the “parliament” of Kosovo and the leader of the local Democratic Party, Kadri Veseli, demanded the day before that the parliament be dissolved and a date for elections be set, since, according to the politician, they are inevitable in this situation.

Vesely said he would take the lead in convening the session, which he said was a constitutional duty and a two-thirds majority must decide to dissolve the "parliament".

“I have invited colleagues from political parties to come together to agree on dissolution, and we must also agree on the date of the elections,” Vesely said.

He emphasized that Haradinaj, having announced his resignation before his trip to The Hague, can no longer lay claim to the position of “prime minister.”

While Haradinaj is trying to deal with the intrigues in Pristina, the clouds are gathering over him.

As Kurir writes, despite the fact that about 30 witnesses to Haradinaj’s criminal acts when he was a militant of the Kosovo Liberation Army had previously died or been killed, there are new people willing to testify against the now “ex-prime minister” and his brother Daut.

And these testimonies are shocking: according to the publication, they contain everything from beatings, rape and terrible torture to mass murder and organ trafficking.

Over the past few months, the investigation has heard from about 20 witnesses, Serbs and Albanians. To protect these witnesses, the trial was kept secret, with their testimony recorded in Belgrade as well as in the Slavic enclaves in northern Kosovo.

Kurir predicts that the most serious charge against Haradinaj will be related to the trafficking of organs of about 500 people, most of them Serbs. All of them were killed after being kidnapped by KLA militants, and their bodies were used for sale for transplantation.

One witness said that Serbs aged between 25 and 35, all from Kosovo and Metohija, who had previously been kidnapped or captured by KLA members, were being held in the area of the Albanian town of Burel. In one of the houses where prisoners were kept, there was also an operating room.

Witnesses reported that Haradinaj was among the curators of the “black” business. The victims were transported from Kosovo to Albania by his brother Daut Haradinaj, as well as other accomplices – Sami Lushtaku and Jakup Krasniqi. The latter was interrogated in The Hague on the same day as the former “Prime Minister” of Kosovo.

“Three doctors, including two Albanian ones, examined the prisoners and issued verdicts. A temporary clinic has been set up in central Albania to remove organs from the bodies of detained Serbs,” said a witness who visited a burial ground about a kilometer from the house where the Serbs were being held. He said that when burying corpses, the bodies were treated with a special powder to suppress the smell.

According to these accounts, human organs were transported to Rinas Airport near Tirana and then to Istanbul. It is believed that the body parts of the murdered Serbs were sold on the black market for between $25 and $000 and transplanted into people in Europe, Israel and other countries.
