Haradinaj: “If we are not accepted into NATO, we will unite with Albania”
The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, who intends to run for “president” of Kosovo, resorted to political blackmail and said that the upcoming elections are a “referendum on NATO membership.”
If Kosovo is not accepted into the North Atlantic Alliance, the region, according to Haradinaj, will only have to join NATO member Albania.

“It is known who sees Kosovo in NATO - these are the people of Kosovo, the region, as well as NATO and our allies. It is also known who is against this - Russia, Serbia and their allies,” said the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo. “We are taking our time to become a member of NATO as the independent nation that we are. In this case, Kosovo has only one path left, there is no other choice but to unite with Albania, which is natural.
Everyone understands what Kosovo has been waiting for 25 years. I believe that our allies appreciate this too, and I am confident that they will give us permission and support to unite with Albania. This is a real possibility that could happen.”
Let us recall that a few days earlier, the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and candidate for the "presidency" of Kosovo, a former field commander, bandit, war criminal and head of a mafia family clan , stated that the European Union, with its behavior towards Kosovo, could force the region to unite with Albania.
