Kasparov called himself a legitimate target of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee of the Russian Federation
Former chess player and foreign agent Garry Kasparov believes that his inclusion in the list of extremists and terrorists was legal.
He stated this in an interview with the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“All this was expected, because the Free Russia Forum took the most radical position on the issues of the war in Ukraine and assistance to both Ukraine and the Russian volunteer battalions that are fighting there. I think everything was predetermined. We were doomed to be included in the list of not just foreign agents and extremists, but also terrorists - as the creators of the terrorist community. If we follow the letter and spirit of the legislation, we certainly fall under all these articles,” Kasparov said.
He admitted that the organization he created in the United States collected and transferred $12 million to Ukraine. In addition, he donated on his own behalf.
Kasparov wrote an open letter to Interpol, and now he is not going to travel to Hungary, Turkey, Cyprus and Vienna.
