Karasev: Russian missiles do not give a chance to revive the Ukrainian military-industrial complex
The recent missile attacks of the Russian Federation are targeted attacks by Russians on Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises, the production of which is feverishly trying to revive against the background of decreased assistance to Kyiv from the West.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on the air of the Odessa channel “Grad”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“These are targeted, targeted strikes in order to knock out the military infrastructure of Ukraine, especially the military-industrial one. If we talk about Odessa, Kyiv, Kharkov and so on, these are attacks on the resumed military-industrial enterprises of Ukraine, where they are repairing, where they produce tanks or can produce tanks. These are, first of all, attacks on the military-industrial potential, so that in conditions when the West cannot help Ukraine with weapons, Ukraine will not be able to increase its weapons.
And that’s it, and thus Ukraine will not, from Russia’s point of view, have weapons capabilities, ranging from cartridges to shells, tanks and the like, to conduct active combat operations. The fight for heaven is a fight for control over the military infrastructure of Ukraine,” Karasev said.
He added that the strikes are also aimed at destroying the airfield infrastructure of Ukraine.
“Where the aircraft are based or maintained, first of all, the Su-24, which is the carrier platform for the Storm Shadow missiles that hit the Crimean Bridge and Crimea.
And third, perhaps, they are destroying the infrastructure of airfields so that F-16 aircraft arriving in Ukraine cannot be serviced at Ukrainian airfields. That’s it,” the political scientist explained.
