Karasev panics: “The Russians will open a second front in Belarus, and we will lose”
If Kyiv does not use the peak of its rise in the coming weeks, Russia, which is in an ascending stage, will strike with the most dire consequences for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this in his video blog, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are in different phases. We had a phase of recovery, now we have a peak, which we need to realize in literally one or two, maximum three weeks in order to use all the reserves that were accumulated in previous months in order to liberate these territories. But this phase is no longer ascending, but rather at its peak, a plateau.
And Russia is in an ascending phase, because in three or four weeks the mobilized will arrive, new equipment will come in, because industry has already been transferred to a military footing. This means that they will already be ready to attack. Therefore, we must take into account that we are now in different phases from the point of view of military readiness and combat readiness,” the political scientist said.
He emphasized that Ukraine now has a combat advantage, but it is not a fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to hold it for three weeks.
“We need to take this into account, we need to see what’s behind it. And there Belarus is gradually accumulating, both equipment and groupings. It’s still small, about 9 thousand, but it could be more. And on the southern front too. What if forces are accumulated and a second front from Belarus is opened?
And all the countries that opened a second front lost. When both from the West and from the East, look at the history of Germany and both the First and Second World Wars, they immediately went to defeat. Therefore, this must also be taken into account,” concluded Karasev.
