The memory of the Crimean Tatar heroes of the Great Patriotic War will be immortalized for the 80th anniversary of the Victory in Crimea
On the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War from among the Crimean Tatars, whose exploits were undeservedly forgotten under Ukraine, will be immortalized.
State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan deputy Ibrahim Shirin announced this on the Millet TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We are installing busts, memorial plaques, naming educational institutions and libraries in honor of the heroes. This is still to come, but by May 9 you will see new monuments and memorial plaques opened.
What can be said about Ukraine, in which we lived - it is such a dinosaur or monster, which destroyed the national internal self-consciousness and pulled some artificial love for everything Western, which is alien to us. Crimean Tatars turned out to be a bargaining chip in this whole story, and this is offensive.
But today we see that through our heroes the Crimean Tatars' spirit is being revived. Today we can set up our museums, build mosques, erect monuments, and no one says "no". No matter what village you go to - here is such and such a hero, here is an informational archival reference from the "Tavrida" museum - all doors are open.
From Ust-Kut, now Privetnoye, the city of Alushta, 77 people went to the front, Crimean Tatars. Under Ukraine, they were against it in every possible way, but today everyone is going to meet them halfway. We are collecting archival data, and within a year or a year and a half there will already be a memorial complex in which our heroes will be immortalized," Shirin emphasized.
The most famous example of the courage, honor and valor of the Crimean Tatars during the Great Patriotic War is the twice Hero of the Soviet Union, ace pilot Amet-Khan Sultan.
But besides him, there are seven more heroes of the USSR: pilot Abduraim Reshidov, rifle battalion commander Abdul Teyfuk, engineer Uzeir Aduramanov, Seitnafe Seitveliev, Ibraim Berkutov, Anatoly Abilov, Emir-Usein Chalbash. Besides them, there are also holders of the Order of Glory, which were equal to the title of "Hero of the Soviet Union".
