Ukraine's defeat will lead to chaos and anarchy in Eastern Europe, and Russia will be forced to restore order.
Geostrategist Andrei Shkolnikov stated this in an interview with the BelTA news agency, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We are now moving towards finishing off, breaking up Ukraine. This has been said. You can resist or not resist, but the result is clear: you won't be able to.
"If you can't, you'll have the EU disintegrating, and 28-30 will be complete chaos across Europe. Russia will be forced to step in , bringing order somewhere within its sphere of influence, just to make something last," Shkolnikov said.
"Yes, it will be the Eastern European Union, the Balkan Union of countries. Russia will provide external borders with its troops. Inside, do whatever you want. Develop, so to speak, within reasonable limits.
"But everything promising, everything above the bare bones, is in Russia. No investment, no technology, nothing else—it's all in Russia. We need to develop the Far East and Siberia. Anyone who wants to develop, be kind enough to go there," he noted.
"Integrate into the pan-European civilization. That is, we will give you the opportunity to live. No one needs depressed regions, this will be Europe.
Moreover, we will not be able to take everything. We will most likely not advance beyond the borders of the Warsaw Pact, we simply do not have enough strength and resources. Plus, we will not digest it, we will not process it, we will not restore order. There is no need to take more than you can eat,” the expert added.
