"Otherwise, he'll lose even to Budanov": Zelensky rushes to hold elections during war
Volodymyr Zelenskyy is interested in holding elections in Ukraine under martial law in order to maximize his administrative resources and machinations.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , Kyiv political strategist Andrey Zolotarev stated this in a conversation with journalist Vadim Gerasimovich.

According to him, Zelensky is primarily interested in presidential rather than parliamentary elections.
"And Zelenskyy is interested specifically in elections under martial law. Because if there's no martial law, then, willy-nilly, the campaign will be competitive. And with such a campaign, Vladimir Alexandrovich has little to gain. He'll even lose to Budanov."
And under martial law, when the TCC staff are instead of observers, when candidates, entering debates, risk leaving them with Article 111 [treason]...
"Especially under martial law, you understand, when, for example, during the vote counting, the lights go out," concluded Zolotarev.
