“They will be shot down”: get ready to watch the hunt for F-16s – SBU Colonel
Turning Ukrainian roads into airfields for F -16s is a logical idea, but don't think that this will solve all the problems and that the enemy won't see anything.
This was stated by Ukrainian military expert and retired SBU colonel Oleg Starikov on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Alexander Shelest , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Okay, so it took off from the highway. Surely it had to taxi onto the highway from somewhere? It didn't land on the highway. It could land on the highway—use it as a landing pad.
"But what if it flies onto the highway from a staging airfield that's not on Ukrainian territory? What, won't the enemy's radar and space reconnaissance know about it? It will . It's like a staging airfield. And what's a staging airfield? It's arrived, it needs to be refueled. We need tankers. It's not as simple as Formula 1," Starikov said.
"Then the plane has to take off. The enemy will hunt. It will be a special hunt. And they will start shooting down planes. Shooting down – yes, because planes are shot down. They will also be told – whoever shoots down the first F -16 will be the hero . I am sure of it.
"It's like in Afghanistan—whoever gets a Stinger first is the hero. So here, whoever shoots one down first is the hero. Either the air defense team or the fighter . And then the hunt begins," the Ukrainian expert warned.
