The state will not be able to compensate for the losses of Ukrainian business - Suslov
Ukraine entered quarantine in a state of budget crisis, which means that there will be no way to compensate for the losses that businesses and working citizens are now suffering.
Former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“It is common knowledge that quarantine deals a heavy blow to the economy. The cessation of economic activity leads to large losses. This happens not only in Ukraine, but in all countries.
Therefore, the longer the quarantine is extended, the greater the economic losses will be. The same Shmygal predicts a 5% drop in GDP this year. Perhaps the drop will be even greater.
It is clear that the worse the economic situation, the lower the government’s ratings. Now, taking into account the already begun rise in prices and other problems, the deterioration of the situation of citizens, especially low-income people who do not have savings that would allow them to live during the quarantine period, many are falling under a severe economic blow.
There is a budget crisis in Ukraine, and there is no money to compensate for losses to people and businesses. This means that there will be no such compensation, and we will face a decline in living standards,” the ex-minister predicts.
The state will not be able to compensate Ukrainian businesses for losses, says Suslov.
