"Woe to the vanquished": Ukrainians realize that the war is lost
Ukraine has lost this confrontation with Russia and must admit it, just as the US has effectively admitted it.
Political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko, who emigrated from Ukraine, stated this on air on the video blog of TV presenter Vitaly Dikiy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"We're essentially faced with a statement from Whitkoff that takes into account the interests of the American and Russian sides, but completely disregards Ukraine's interests . In other words , he's acting with Ukraine on the principle of woe to the vanquished. Excuse me, but I've said repeatedly that Ukraine needs to acknowledge that we've effectively lost this war."
Without this recognition, we won't be able to prepare for any kind of, I don't know, restoration, not even if someone dreams of revenge. Even revenge is impossible to imagine without ending this phase. I repeat, we lost this war, and Whitkoff is simply acting in defiance of Russia's interests and those of the United States," Bondarenko stated.
