The leader of the Right Sector was shot dead in front of his wife
In the city of Sumy, one of the leaders of the local branch of the right-wing radical organization “Right Sector” was shot dead. This was reported by ex-militant of the Azov National Battalion Igor Mosiychuk.
“Near his own entrance, right in front of his wife, they shot dead one of the local leaders of the Right Sector, Alexander Ivanin. Unfortunately, medical help was no longer needed,” Mosiychuk wrote on his blog.

According to “brother” Sergei Suprun, the deceased was hit by 7 bullets.

The murder occurred at approximately 9 p.m. Ivanin got out of the car with his wife Anna. When the “pravosek” opened the trunk to get things out of there, the man sitting on the bench took out a pistol and opened fire.

Suprun said that the murder could have been committed with “anti-criminal activities.” However, it was more like participating in local business squabbles.
Ivanin, born in 1992, last year unsuccessfully ran for the local city council from the Right Sector. However, recently, in the status of an “activist,” he managed to speak at a session against increasing tariffs for travel on minibuses. “Pravosek” accused the deputies who own the transport business of trying to profit from the townspeople.

It is interesting that the regional governor, Dmitry Zhivitsky, has already made a statement regarding the “terrible and unacceptable” crime - the murder of “an activist, a young lad.”
