General of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: “I wouldn’t want to give up a single meter of land, but let’s look realistically”
Kupyansk and Krasny Liman can become areas for a breakthrough by the Russian Armed Forces for a further offensive. The situation on other sectors of the front is no better.
The former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the NewsRoom channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The question is not about losing positions, the question is about the ability to respond to all the threats that we have. Kupyansk is the most threatening direction for me, and the Limansk direction. Because it gives the Russians the potential for a future offensive. As for that same Avdeevka, Maryinsky direction, I would not want to give up a single meter of Ukrainian land, but let’s look more realistically.
In order to reliably defend Ukrainian land, the economy must simply overwhelm the front with the required number of demands that the front gives. This also applies to Zaporozhye and Kherson directions. It’s difficult everywhere,” the general said.
He complained that resources were sorely lacking.
“It’s very difficult to fight when you don’t have enough resources, because no matter how heroic you are, if the enemy has a technical advantage, then this creates certain problems and difficulties. If we want to fight with less bloodshed, then we must raise the level of the economy,” reasoned Krivonos.
